A novel triangular wave quadrature oscillator without passive components for sinusoidal pulse width modulation DC-AC power conversion

In this study, a low-cost quadrature triangle oscillator using voltage-controlled closed-loop dual operational amplifier (Op-Amp) architecture is proposed. Unlike other typical designs, does not require any passive components. The use of an Op-Amp-based circuit attractive for because it more cost-effective than microcontroller-based solution. This especially true sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) DC-AC power conversion applications. slew-rate restriction Op-Amp useful characteristic producing waveform when seen from the perspective wave shaping techniques. MC4558 and JRC4558D are two examples Op-Amps that evaluated, contrasted, described in article. At supply voltages +7 V -7 V, suggested uses has same oscillation frequency, which 63 kHz, as demonstrated by simulation experimental data. frequency stability estimated to be around 0.23%. addition, findings experiment demonstrate proposed practical solution SPWM application.
